I don't know if any one ever reads this stuff, but i am going to wright it any way.
Of late I have been perplexed by the way the folks in Washington dc and state capitals are running things, and moor so the fact that we sit back on our ass and let them get away with murder.
Why is it these people think they can run our lives better than we can? Who in the hell do they think they are? The best I can figure there are none of them that possess a lick of common since. Be it drug laws seat belt laws or what have you. Seat belt for example. They may well be a good idea, but in no way is it any of governments business. It no more than revenue enhancement at the point of a gun. Why is it any of governments bs if I want to let people smoke in my restaurant or bar. It is my money, my property, if the general public does not like smoking they can damn well go some place that the OWNER dose not allow smoking Why do these god damn politicians think it is any of there business other than they think they have some thing to gain from pandering to a few people with money
The fact that some of these people have been in office since time eternal makes me wonder about us "THE PEOPLE" in general. We go about our lives with the assumption that government will do the rite thing. Bull shit it ain't going to happen. As a people we have little recourse against them. The only one I see short of revolution is ever time we have the opportunity to vote is to vote out the incumbent. Every time. I don't care if it is your brother, wife or next door neighbor. Why are some willing to spend millions of their own money and all of yours they can get there hands on for a seat in the house or senate? POWER POWER AND MORE POWER and I dare say there is some $$$$$$$$$$$ in there as well. If they knew that the jig will be up in 4 or 6 years then they will have to come home and make a living like the rest of us perhaps it would not be so attractive and we might start getting people to run for office that would actually listen to us.
Why do they not impose more tariffs on products coming into this country instead of raising our taxes every time they get a chance Why do they make it oh so easy for company's to move there jobs around the world when people here need them. The jobs that is. And why can we not simply shut down our southern boarder???????? I this home land security thing had anything to do with home land security it should be a no brainer. The whole thing is a farce if you ask me.
I could go on and on but I will save some for later.
On a lighter note the SMOKEY JOE SHOW will be coming out with a new album to be release on Four Season Record ,published by Calf Creek Music in September '07. LITTLE BUILDINGS is the tittle of this new recording. So "Be careful, Be safe, God Bless" Smokey Joe said that..Later
